Pros

Organization have good policies, but the management in GCC (especially in ATR) tweak it to their benefit to play their own game. To bring in their own people from outside, they will try get rid of you soon. So guys it's a trap... don't step in there if you value yourself. Especially in ATR. Reconsider to step here if you are not joining on their referral.

Cons

GCC establishment is new, and as it is still in it's primary phase of structuring there is chaos. You will almost feel like the work environment as of a start up. Though this gives you opportunities to learn new, let you enjoy your work place if challenges thrill you, you will also come across a management who is using it to their advantage. Tweaking and twisting policies to recruit from their previous organization, plotting to break your confidence and ultimately making you to quit. Due to such poor management, this place is losing good employees.. many are in pipeline of quitting. Though the organization's policy# 1 is People, nowhere it looks like they are valued. People who has given loyalty, sincerity and years of service to the organization to transition the process to GCC, today those attributes are nowhere valued. The new management in ATR is forcing those employees to quit to replace them with their referral.... and mind you, the newbies skills are nowhere matching. Employees with half FT jobs are highlighted in front of Mancom, overnight development plans are getting prepared for the favorites to showcase to Mancom, wherein some hard working guy is slogging to keep the process intact. His only fault is, he dint learn these tactics of growth. So guys if you are someone whose attribute is sincerity towards your work and not boot-licking management to go up the ladder, if you are not a referral and ex-employee of EXL, this is not a place for you.

Pros

Really good at identifying suck ups Show off culture - if you can smooth talk you will thrive Impatience is a virtue Famously describes that you have to be thick skinned to survive (thick skinned + thick brained) Dispassionate, you will learn to let go of people quickly if they don't serve your ends and that is across levels. ( from MD to Executives) Extremely good at saving money by taking away bonuses, keeping dues to employees

Cons

Inhuman HR. Policy of hiring young people with attitude ( atleast get people with good attitude, but attitude without substance is just hot air) Top management is expert in giving good excuse to zone HQ about whats going wrong Zero job security

Pros

1. Great Brands 2. Great Values in Website. 3. Free cab.

Cons

1. No work life balance. Punching in 12+ hours is considered working and they take pride in working late. Senior leaders say that once you join ABInBev there is no life after work. Most of the management don’t have families. 2. Huge discrimination. There are two different sets of policies. One for whites and other for Indians. 3. Don't fall for Fat Bonus. There are 101 reasons to deny your Bonus. Talk to current employees. there is no bonus this year because they acquired a company. GREAT. 4. Horrible working tools. No Laptop, No work from Home. 5. They give you a 18th century thin client and you are expected to work wonders. Consider at least 30% time on slowness of this machine. Browsing through email takes hell lot of time. You are expected to buy your own laptop and phone and make business calls. 6. Targets are set to fail you. Example: - You develop a software product in 6 months. 2 months down the line, realize there is no budget. Once the target is set that's it, its set on the rock. There is no course correction for any reason. the budget is not provided, you miss your performance appraisal and your Bonus. Your targets are very different from your managers. 7. They find silly reasons for not giving you bonus. Example: We acquired a company so no money for bonus. There is no summer in Brazil, so people drank 10 bottles less beers. So no bonus. Your team did great, but that one team that you didn’t know existed did not meet their goal. SO no bonus. The objective of Management is to deny employees Bonus. 8. The office space is too bad. There is no room to move around. It is like a call center.
