Stellar culture, inspiring leaders, growing strategy
Pros
This is a company filled with smart and ambitious people who have done a good job of establishing a strong culture in the US office. There is a relatively new CRO who came in with a lot of fires to put out and a lot of rebuilding to do. He has a clear vision of how to make that happen and is step by step laying the framework for those changes to take hold. There is a strong sense of collaboration amongst the team and I always felt supported. This is a great place to work if you're not expecting a static and regimented experience. You must be excited and driven by constant change. The good news is that the work they're doing is meaningful and inspiring.
Cons
There is some significant work to do to get the sales culture where it needs to be. This includes a recent move of the entire SDR organization from Austin to NYC, new leaders coming on board, upgrading and upleveling the marketing organization, solidifying the narrative/pitch for up-market companies, aligning product marketing and sales, etc. There has also been some significant changes in the actual model of the company in the last year with more to come in the future. I wish there was more of an effort to align the new business team and the customer team. There could also be much more integration between the US team and the Africa teams, especially for new business team members.
