Pros

Flexible schedule and some work from home allowed. It feels great to work in a position where you are making a difference in people's lives every day. Benefits are good.

Cons

Extremely bureaucratic. Horrible payroll system where it takes months to receive bonuses. Car allowances are way too low. Marketing/Communications Departments have way too much power.

Pros

The mission of the Red Cross to provide emergency services to those affected by disaster and military service members.

Cons

Mismanagement of funds at the corporate level, high CEO salaries caused a major downsizing of staff, many who worked for the company 25+ years were blindsided when their position was "eliminated."
