Great Place to work for as long as there is no recession going on. It is a Charity and relies 100% on donations.

Loved the people who worked there. Great asssociations/friendships with volunteers who were there helping frequently. Fantastic Brand Name recognition in the community. Most people in the community love the Red Cross. Great place to work for if you would like to feel that you are making a difference in the lives of other people.

Cons

Low pay compared to other companies.

They are very flexible in allowing time off/flex time and within each department there is a good amount of camaraderie and friendliness.

Cons

There is an expectation for a large amount of weekend and night hours in many positions. The departments could not be any worse at working together.
