      The worst career decision I've made in my life!

      Pros

      -Working for an amazing cause; literally helping to save lives on a daily basis. -Decent compensation for a non-profit with a generous incentive program. -Medical/Dental/Vison

      Cons

      -Complete lack of professionalism permeates executive management team, which filters down and translates to extremely low employee morale and high attrition rate. -No work/life balance including limited PTO/sick time. -Severe lack of resources necessary to be successful in the job. -Lack of career development or professional growth opportunities. -Spotty benefits include lack of 401(k) match, no educational assistance, and low level company paid life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability.

      Okay to work at, but upper management has to go!

      Pros

      If you get lucky enough to have a great supervisor like I did, it was a good place to work. Upper management doesn't have a clue what we do, and are very negative and untrusting towards the reps. Our supervisor was the buffer, and if it weren't for her, most of the sales force would probably leave. Work from home, and the benefits and vacation are excellent.

      Cons

      Very stressful. Upper management is horrible. Upper management pounds on the supervisors and makes it very uncomfortable. They set unrealistic goals to achieve. Be ready for everything to be your fault if a blood drive cancels because of something out of your control, ie., weather, shooting, etc. That's your fault, and you're expected to make up the units of blood that won't be collected.

      The pay was excellent. Some very good friends Setting my own personal goals and achieving them

      Cons

      A definite division in coworkers. I have never worked for an organization where I felt that a group of coworkers was totally at odds with another group, all doing the same job side by side. It was very discomforting. That made my friends even more special.
