Pros
Car allowance. Free swag. Nice people. If you are young, need a job and willing to relocate. A decent industry if you look at your career as small incremental pay increases. You can start age 20 and be exec or director in 20 years. You will have the gray hair to show. I know several people that have long careers through this industry. You can use this experience to crossover to other brands.
Cons
Brazilian boys club decides much of what happens. You have to take vacation week at a time. Hard to juggle accounts, beer orders by deadline, and keep stores looking good. Holiday orders get delayed. Will be scrutinized over the smallest of details. When I was there it was a mass exodus of employees from marketing and sales. One girl was drug tested 3 times in several months which is supposedly random. Hard to believe. This was a hair test. I felt bad for her.
