The technology you work on is definitely at the forefront of the industry. Your work has a large, often global impact. The engineers are brilliant and generally great people to work with. Upward mobility is very achievable.
Cons
The company makes sure to keep a base level of stress on you at all times. Deadlines are often unreasonable and intended to make you feel as though you are running behind schedule and squeeze extra work from you. There are too many layers of management and upper management makes many decisions without consideration of engineers. Promotions are often dragged out and take longer than they should.
