Starting salary is not commensurate with the level of effort needed for the role (often > 60hours per week), travel leads to burn out quickly if not managed well, onboarding is often trial by fire (though there are 2 dedicated weeks to onboarding and is better than other companies I've worked for).

The company makes sure to keep a base level of stress on you at all times. Deadlines are often unreasonable and intended to make you feel as though you are running behind schedule and squeeze extra work from you. There are too many layers of management and upper management makes many decisions without consideration of engineers. Promotions are often dragged out and take longer than they should.
