Pros

The environment is professional, the office is nice, and the job is very reliable and stable. In the Waltham development office we worked with some newer, more interesting technologies. The people are easy going.

Cons

As an entry level developer, I was given almost no training, and I frequently don't have any work to do. Each developer is supposed to be given a boss (for performance reviews, 1-on-1 meetings, and vacation approvals), but after 5 months I still do not have a boss. The guy who hired me "forgot," remembered after 3 months, and now apparently has forgotten again.

Pros

1) A decent salary , better than Indian IT company .

Cons

1) Managers are very rude and they just shout on you no matter how much you explain yourself . 2) No respect for an employees personal life and they have 8 PM cabs which looks like a benefit but managers use this facility to make employee sit in office till 8 PM . 3) Doesn't matter weather you are honest with your work , flattering is the key to success . 4) HR department seems to be rubber stamp and it looks they have no work in this company. 5) Purely service based attitude and all they care is to make their French colleague happy . 6) Very less on site opportunities that to mostly a month or maximum 3 months that too if you are lucky . 7) No infrastructure provided for recreational activities after like a year maximum they provided is 1 TT Board for 850 + employees . 8) Team outing are done during weekends and that too the budget is fixed for 500 Per quarter 9) Pathetic food provided . 10) Lot of internal tools and outdated technology used which have no value outside this company

-GDS business is going bust (ref Lufthansa) -Amadeus Software Labs is a non-learning entity - the heads are glorified account managers, HR doesn't possess a industry-recognized management degree -Heads of department are chosen on personal whim rather than skills/abilities -Managers/Directors exist who are not worth being called Software Engineers -Technologies used are minimum decade-old leading to a dead-end for technical careers -Attrition rate bordering on the ridiculous, especially among freshers -uncivilized and unprofessional work culture - lazy, pessimistic, resistant to any change leading to widespread complacency and shirking -More hosting 'hackathon's than actual work -Inability to value their own employees
