Pros

The co-workers are often like minded, helpful, and in the same situation as yourself, either fired wrongfully from their previous job or in the various situations you will find yourself in colorado springs where it seems the entire city is hell bent on destroying a person's livelihood.

Cons

Management is a bunch of children given authority without proper training. They range from spineless to apathetic to downright evil. (A manager told me " I don't care if their family died in a car accident you will not transfer to ECR" no joke) You will get three different answers from floorwalkers and all three will be wrong. They will manipulate your time worked when a call pushes you beyond your scheduled shift. The building is so old I'm sure theres asbestos in the walls to the point that people have quit due to health concerns and they will not help you change your shift if a life event has occurred. The company is a parasite that leeches money off of contracts and companies that are too cheap to hire proper. Instead of being paid 14 like what is paid in the contract, you are paid 10. That means that the extra 4 dollars gained each employee will go into the pocket of the con artist that runs this joint. You will not receive a raise but you'll be promoted and given a 50 cent raise that will not be even worth the responsibility you will take on. A supervisor gets 11.25 SALARIED. This company is a joke like that of xerox and many other call centers. They will not help you and you are there to make THEM money not yourself and you will not be helping customers you will push them through queues until they are frustrated and hangup but hey you did a good job and made alorica money. If you care about human beings, customer service, solving problems, and getting paid for your time worked, stay away from this pit. If you couldn't care less about your fellow man and get off on causing problems for human beings then this is for you and you will enjoy paying for it.

Pros

Better than not having "any" job, I suppose.

Cons

This company scrapes from the bottom of the barrel as far as their hiring practices go. An average day here is reminiscent of a 3am shift at a Jacksonville, Florida Waffle House. If you're looking to meet new and exciting degenerates, look no further. Daily schedule is dictated by a big brother-like entity that monitors everyone at all times, including all of your lunches and breaks down to the second. No personal belongings are allowed on your desk. This includes, but is not limited to, books, cell phones, snacks, any sort of cubicle decorations, pictures, etc. Hours can be anywhere from 8AM to Midnight and it never closes, not even for Thanksgiving or XMas. You can be sent home at any time on any given day if the company doesn't need you, without pay of course--meaning this company is not a reliable source of income. You are sitting down, connected to a phone all day, with no call control (meaning you don't answer the phone manually, it answers itself for you) in a seat with no ergonomic qualities whatsoever. You are not to leave your station under any circumstances without permission, and that includes going to the bathroom. Shameful mini-health care plan that covers you for about 1.5 days in the hospital should you fall seriously ill. You can only dress down on certain "themed" days and sometimes you can only dress down--as in wearing perfectly good jeans--if you pay a fee (yes, you heard right); Keep in mind, many people who meet the dress code look entirely unprofessional. Located in the boonies, within walking distance of nothing. Company has recently removed their tier 2 department in order to avoid giving hard working individuals their due raises, and minimizing others' chances of advancing in their careers. This company shamelessly and ruthlessly works all the angles to wrench everything in their favor, all the while going out of their way to create a false outside impression to newcomers that their company cares about their workers by singing them happy birthday and posting their pictures everywhere. Take it from someone who made a big mistake coming here; You can do better!
