Pros

Nothing. Initially everything is told as part of advertisement. Nothing is in practice

Cons

I am working as a Sr. Medical Summarizer for causality claims, Lots of work pressure. Each and every day literally we're tortured a lot. We are team of 150+ (all new members team incl. doctors as well). Every one has same opinion. Because of this there is very very high attrition. We keep hearing there is much more lots of pressure in Bangalore team. Entire team of 150+ associates are working minimum 11+ hours in a day, still management is not happy. Always sets unrealistic target. Apart from it, we are asked to working on weekends. No leaves are given. Each and every colleague is literally tortured a lot to complete their targets. No work ethics / policies. Tasks are not measured / quantified. Management doesn't bother for your concerns / problems - don't even ask. Also management don't want to share this to onsite team, always says everything is fine. Really a too toxic company / work envt. overall. Good to join this company, if we want to spoil our health.

Pros

-Decent paying job -raises occur. I received two raises within two years -better understanding of insurance for the real world

Cons

-don’t expect to get off on time. Everyone stays and lingers about past 4:30 because NOBODY is caught up therefore they don’t feel justified leaving at 4:30. -constant workflow, easy to get in a hole with no end in sight -lots of angry voicemails for no reason Bottom line, if your phone is ringing, and it always is, the person on the other end is 98% angry and you’ll know it. That’s just the nature of the job, people get in accidents, get angry and you’re oftentimes the very next person they talk to. I can handle people being mad at me, but it is very draining. So much more so than I ever anticipated.

Pros

- 100% work from home unless in a very specific job type.

Cons

- Unrealistic work expectations - High turnover leaves lots of upset customers - Antiquated technology for claims handling - New employees are undertrained and unprepared - Low pay and below average benefits - Qualified as exempt so no overtime pay - No bonus unless you’re a VP - Everything you do is tracked as part of work metrics - Jobs are quickly being outsourced to India
