Pros

It is a large company with a lot of opportunities to advance and move around if you aren't happy with where you are. There are also a lot of management communications to make sure that employees know what is going on in the higher levels of the company and what the managers think about the direction of the company and the department. Cons

A lot of the managers are not very technical or knowledgeable about the departments in which they are managers. Many managers move around between units and have no real knowledge about the underlying jobs of the people who they manage.A lot of the managers are not very technical or knowledgeable about the departments in which they are managers. Pros

Mgmt actually cares about their employees. There is a great balance between work and home. There is a genuine feeling of caring for customers behind the scenes. That is difficult to project sometimes from an adjuster who is handling 250 people at one time.

Cons

More work than possible in 8 hours a day

Pros

Friendly coworkers, good vacation and benefit plans, overall the work is good and people are very genuine. i have never been disrespected by my bosses. Work life balance is a big plus, lots of working moms and people with unusual schedules.

Cons

I get the feeling that the salary is not very competitive outside of the company, and there are no bonuses other than a 401 match until you are a manager, which could be 10-15 years for when you start.
