Pros

Benefits and 401k and vacation.

Cons

Was offered the job, I countered and they said they could meet my counter after 6 months of good performance. 6 months comes around and I've already taken on responsibility of another recruiter who quit. Was told no raise was such a thing and no one told me that. Fast forward another 6 months, now taking the work on for 3 recruiters (never backfilled) was told no merit raise for me because of poor performance and not filling reqs quick enough like I was before (mind you I'm doing the work of 3 full time jobs). They said if I performed well the next year they would promote me and give a raise. 6 month after I got a token $500 bonus for great performance. Another 6 months, they told me the promotion isn't going to happen because of poor performance and not merit raise (I'm already doing the work of 4 people at this point). I quit a week later for another opportunity that paid twice what I was making. Now I just poach their employees.

Pros

Work From Home Good Amount of Shifts To Chose From

Cons

NOT ENOUGH PTO IF YOU USE ALL YOUR PTO YOU GET OCCURRENCES. MICROMANAGE-MANAGERS ALWAY BREATHING DOWN YOUR BACK, THEY LISTEN TO YOUR CALLS RANDOMLY AND THEN TURN AROUND AND DO A “SIT” with you watching and listening to everything you do. Then you have to have a coaching with your manager every-time you make a mistake or another co worker tell on you. Adjuster don’t pick up the phone when you need help with a claim I believe they just sit there and watch the phone ring so they don’t have to talk to customers Customers yell and scream at you over things you have no control over. If your shop doesn’t have your parts in yet, why are you calling your insurance company? Call the shop! Calls are back2 back you can’t even breath! You have managers watching your screen secretly to see if you are actually working. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO WORK TO FIND INFORMATION IN A CLAIM EVERY CLAIM IS NOT SIMPLE, you have to research information sometimes and if you stay in ACW too long you got a manager messaging you telling you that you need to go back to talking calls. Some managers are rude and they don’t try to help you they don’t even want to speak with anger customers either even if the customers request a manager they want you to go back on the phone and de escalate or they will tell you send the customer to their voicemail. The metrics are very hard to meet, they say ohh its ok if you can’t get this and that then turn around the next week and put you on a UN! Its hard to get a raise because the metrics are unrealistic. I work for ALLSTATE for 7 years and still made the same amount of pay a new hire would make!

Pros

You can buy additional time off

Cons

They laid off people during the pandemic solely to increase profits. Workloads doubled and now they are bleeding employees. Customers are always angry, and rightly so. I had nightmares about the work. Micromanaging galore and lost pay!
