Pros

WFH opportunities Generous 401k matching policy Pension Lots of room to move around because the company is so big Discounts on insurance and other products through their partnerships Education assistance Decent onboarding process

Cons

Very hard to move up in the ranks quickly enough when starting from entry level. Outside of using Unix/Java the company doesn't really embrace open source technology and was 95% Microsoft (Exchange / Office / Sharepoint) at the time I left. Ultimately I see this as a negative because it likely puts them in a position of spending lots of extra money on those licenses and being less agile when it comes to development of new systems or fixing the old legacy ones.

Good for work life balance. average salary in the IT sector. Good bonus compensation each year but was better a few years back.

Cons

Still struggling to identifying low and high performers. average salaries with mediocre benefits. Rush hour traffic congestion

Pros

excellent work hour flexibility, that's about the only thing i feel passionate enough about to put down as a pro

Cons

big slow moving machine.. infiltrated by contractors that lack intuition to act beyond their narrowly described job function. lots of red tape, not often do I come across individuals that are extremely passionate about the work or the resources they support.
