Pros

Vacation Days, 401k match, International Experience

Cons

There is NO work-life balance. They will make you work weekends and week nights after work and they do not award you with extra vacation days. The employees there live to work, not work to live. The environment is toxic. Upper management does not keep their promises either. One day they say one thing, the next day it is the complete opposite. The software is a mess that the processes and work experience is not professional at all. There is very little to no room for growth. Once you are hired, expect to stay in the same position until you leave. Allianz is the prime example if you know someone, you will make your way up the ladder. However, if you enjoyed high school drama and gossip, Allianz is the place to be because everyone talks about everyone in a negative way. Lastly, HR is not there for you at all, they are only their for the company and its reputation.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Very clicky. Full of rumors. Everyone is related somehow. Lack of respect. Management knows absolutely nothing and is only still in their position due to personal relationships with people. They have a serious HR issue and don’t recognize it. Crazy amount of turn over. Managers don’t protect their teams but are first ones to throw them under the bus for their own decisions. You will only excel if you make friends with the catty management otherwise there is absolutely no growth in IT, change management or projects related to operations. People are all extremely two faced so watch your back. If you know management or are/become personal friends with then you are free to make your own hours. If not, get ready to be micro managed.

Pros

Subsidiary of well capitalized global insurance company with excellent employee benefits such as health insurance and 401k (100% match up to 7.5%).

Cons

New York office is a mess. Senior leadership in United States has created a toxic environment with poor treatment of employees and unethical behavior. Employee turnover is a problem (fired or resigned) over the past 3 years (close to 100% turnover). Two lawsuits have been filed against the company by former US employees in the last 12 months (only 14 employees in NY office). European headquarters is aware but ignoring the problem.
