HR Partners Toxic to Culture

Pros

The individuals that gave their all everyone and we’re always willing to help out where they could. Unfortunately, Align HR and Leadership take advantage of the hard working individuals and caused burn out quickly without upper movement.

Cons

HR partners (Morrisville, NC) have systematically dismantled the culture in this location. What once was a thriving, engaging culture of people working together, has become an environment that if you don’t regularly praised HR partners and certain leadership, then you are targeted at this “at will”. They make decisions with no facts and refused to do any due diligence to get information. This behavior has caused attrition of 50-100 amazing employees that have gone to competitors in the industry for better culture, HR treatment, pay, and work/life balance. I sincerely hope Align Leadership looks into this group and makes the needed changes.

Pros

As a TM, there’s no cold calling. The product is a money maker for general dentists. Orthos know it’s the future but are hesitant. It’s a really fun sell

Cons

- Corporate each year changes comp plan to make it harder and more complicated to make commission. Your doing well if your hitting 90% to plan. Potential to make money like it used to be is near impossible. They are hiring more to face competition and paying less. - Regional mgmt is terrible. Bully type methods with lack of experience, no coaching experience and no general business acumen. - Expecting more and more for less, trying to push out higher paid experienced TMs out for cheaper labor - Advancement opps always go to outside candidates with no experience - Competition is coming out hard, fast and cheap

Pros

High base salary and stock prices continue to rise

Cons

Does not allow for work/life balance. Ideal candidates are single with no children and little outside interests/hobbies. Very heavy workload and unreasonable expectations. Work is pretty much non-stop and everything carries a fire-drill level sense of urgency. Vacations must be accrued over the course of the year...a direct reflection of how little work/life balance is valued. Very stressful work environment.
