- Terrible corporate culture - customer is in the center of attention. At least that's what is stated in every communication. It would be fine if employees were taken care of. EMEA is notorious for it's against-the-employees practices. Bad performing employees are simply moved to different, often associate-director roles.
- You are informed of none of your rights or benefits you could claim if only you were told about them. It seems like you can get more out of the company only by learning about the failures of others, so you know what to avoid or what you might be entitled to.
- No social interactions - only recently social drinks became a social thing. There are no employee facilities where people are encouraged to hang out, other than a pool table.
- Feels like a corporate rat race, led by some senior hr managers who are steering people against each other behind the closed doors.
- Terrible vibe in the office - Since relocation was announced, workload dropped to zero, and no-one is really working. I didn't think It was possible for this office to be even more empty and quiet.
- Biggest drawback - it is up to a handful of individuals to make decisions for a whole company. No matter how good your project is unless you are deep in politics you can forget about it. Your manager will most likely be too afraid to push anything for you as well.
