Pros
- company is large and there are variety of ways to develop yourself - participating in making of real product, end result is real production and that's great - interesting projects (but not all :) - really great colleagues, a lot of expert guys - great atmosphere, there are no offenders, it is comfortable - local office team management is quite good. It is easy to tell your opinion and is no problem to make decisions - tech stack mostly is up-to-date (see below) - salary is good - annual bonuses - flexible work hours
Cons
- a lot of legacy in some areas. And it's hard to get rid of. - lack of documentation. Some things are only known by specific people who work here for years - higher management makes strange decisions that can have bad consequences for devs (changing milestones too often, sudden starting/rejecting projects) - it is obvious that Align product needs to be more modern, as long at competitors are on their way. But lot of things are very old-fashioned, and working with it makes a lot of pain.
