Pros

- Pay is decent. ESPP has been a great benefit with the rise in stock price - Flexible work hours and work from home policy. The office location is very convenient if you are in San Jose or Santa Clara. - Best product with market dominance in the clear aligner space

Cons

- Company culture (at least in the San Jose HQ) is lacking. Little emphasis on community or team building. The traditional employee pastime is complaining about work/the company. - For a large tech company, systems and processes are SO dysfunctional, you will wonder how the company has remained in business for 20 years. There are virtually no onboarding processes or support for employees when it comes to very basic internal processes like paying invoices, accessing electronic approvals for contracts, etc. - The company now global with 10,000+ employees still operates like a "Start up" for all the wrong reasons, i.e. poor direction, lack of any foundational administrative support for basic business functions, etc. No matter your position you will be bogged down by tedious tasks and hurdles to complete the simplest of job functions.

Pros

Passionate employees, exciting and well known product.

Cons

Employees compensate for management’s desire for many new initiatives with expectations of unrealistic timelines, budgets, and resources. Producing results, efficiencies, and improvements is mainly due to employee sweat equity or simply throwing bodies at an issue. Teams and employees are frequently in reaction mode due to poor infrastructure and leadership. Communication within and across functions is inadequate. Although focus on improving leadership appears to be in place there seems to be no willingness for eliminating individuals that do not improve. Upward movement within the organization is stymied by salaries and titles offered to attract new employees.
