Remaining designers were redistributed across individual product teams, where design was often treated as ad-hoc visual support rather than a strategic product function. * Ai concepts were frequently presented to clients without prior involvement from Product Design. After receiving positive client feedback, these concepts were then handed to designers to implement, often without sufficient context, feasibility review, or discovery time. * At the start of 2026, additional Product Designers were laid off, and the remaining team was restructure under leadership that, in my experience, lacked the background necessary to effectively support and advocate for product design as a discipline. There are talented designers at the company, but the lack of consistent design leadership and strategic inclusion made it difficult to deliver thoughtful, sustainable product work.

They haven’t hired a lot of people so it’s always busy. They make us do so much work we have to help this other department yet don’t get paid enough for it. We do double the work with not much pay. And they expect us to make cases and reach back out to the customers when we have back to back calls if you don’t you can get fired. Only offers full time
