      Top notch industry, focus on patients. Ok payment. Fitness center. Flexible work hours. Ok work environment. Ok team work. Good location

      Unstable management, loss of expertise, too many processes, slow decision making, lack of recognition, unclear direction, lack of opportunity for junior associates.

      Great for building early-career experience

      Pros

      Alcon's Co-op program is an excellent early-career opportunity. Pay is satisfactory considering co-ops do not yet have degrees. Was exposed to a lot of aspects of the job.

      Cons

      Very corporate atmosphere, meaning lots of meetings and not a lot of action. Little turnover from co-ops to full-time positions as they basically only hire senior engineers.
