Pros
Nice people work here. Many people came from Ciba and are all professional and hard working.
Cons
Alcon is arrogant. They believe they are superior in every way. They don't care who they hurt or step on if there's more money involved. They lay off great sales reps because they have been there "too long" and probably making too much money. They never give them an option, they just blind side them and tell them they're done. They also have a cheap severance package. One week for each year of employment. Many of my friends who were there 15, 20, 25 years had this happen to them. No respect, no options. Just the door.
