It is new born baby in IT,So they use to give project to other company/vendors. So all responsibility will have vendor, Employee will be a puppet.

Good work/life balance. Excellent health insurance and retirement plan (401k + additional retirement match after 1 yr of service). Additional perks like free contact lens supply (for full time employee + eligible dependent) every year, discounts for LASIK surgeries or cataract surgeries when selecting Alcon surgical instrument or implant products.

Cons

Slow paced and long product development cycle. Challenging for young people to get promoted.

Unlimited time off Good salary for management, especially for Houston

Cons

60% of IT to be offshored by end of 2023. Headcount reductions and cost cutting are limiting investments in innovation. Significant talent loss in IT Leadership since Dec 2023. Unsafe working environment at the Houston plant - multiple homicides next door to the facility in 2022/23; frequent police activity and active shootings nearby; break-ins and firearms thefts from vehicles on-premise; lack of emergency preparation and an unwillingness to train for active shooting situations; warehouse accidents and personal injuries are common. A “Good Old Boys/Girls” culture persists. Employee engagement feedback continues to indicate distrust between staff & management.
