Pros
In the past, work environment was always professional, well maintained and a cut above other area employers. Benefits (particularly 401(k) matching contributions) were well above any other employer in my past.
Cons
Market leading products with strong profits reduced the need to always make the best business decisions. Too often spending appeared to be approved because budget money was available and management used prior year spending as benchmark for future budgets.
