      Pros

      Alcon provides good benefits. Salary is above the average for companies in the same industry. Alcon has a nice campus and good place of work. It seems that average employees are friendly and behave professionally.

      Cons

      Alcon has changed its culture from what it was when it first started. Upper management does not get down to the lowest level and get to know the actual 'soldiers' who do the 'dirty' jobs. Management is one-sided in its focus for just performance development that one mistake is reason for termination.

      Culture - Lack of respect for others Deadlines driven by Managegmet outside of the US; no respect for US holidays, but you have to accommodate for foreign holidays Vision by Senior Leaders not shared throughout the organization Lack of collaboration throughout organization
