      Great Industry to be into with great opportunities

      Pros

      Very diversified customer base allowing for interesting opportunities to learn new things all the time.

      Cons

      Salary. Slow decision making partly due to conservative nature of the company. Nevertheless, this is recognized and plans are in place to change this.

      Opportunities to move around and try different things both nationally and internationally, decent management, job security, acceptable benefits

      Cons

      Salary on the lower side especially in the Houston area where competition is oil and gas companies, no cafeteria or fitness center in the Houston area, no 9/80

      Pros

      Good money - I don't think you can do much better as far a local driving jobs go, great 401(k) match, good benefits, plenty of vacation and sick days. I've had good experiences with all of the managers I've worked for. Very serious safety culture.

      Cons

      You need to be somewhat computer savvy to work with the electronic onboard computers in the truck. There are cameras in the trucks. They are very serious about the safety culture, so you if you want to work here you'd better buy into it. There are LOTS of rules and you need to be willing to follow them or you will not be employed for long.
