Pros

Air Liquide has good pay, benefits, training, and advancement opportunities. Overall it's a good place to work. Endless opportunities if someone is willing to relocate.

Cons

Relocation is almost always required for promotions outside of headquarters in Houston, TX. Corporate is slow at filling open positions. Often employees are responsible for "filling in" for an open position while covering their own job too (sometimes for 6 months or longer).

Being a process licensor Lurgi provides good platform for Process Engineers. Now Lurgi is part of Zimmer- Airliquide colabration, So one can expect versatile exposure. Lurgi provies diversified experience at international level.

Cons

Lurgi is having bad track record in Detail engineering projects. Standards are not up do date as per latest norms. Salary structure is not at par with market standard. Partial behaviour of top level bosses.
