London office senior management is the worst i have seen.

Pros

good pay and bonus. location is good if you live in west london. global offices allow for working in various countries.

Cons

senior managers lack the basic skills in leadership. favouritism towards certain staff and nationalities. nearly 50% turn over of staff due to no progression. management will blame staff for their own mistakes and choices.

Pros

- Do a great job recruiting, so there are a lot of talented, good people there - Great relocation opportunity to Bangkok

Cons

- The good people tend to leave rather quickly, revolving door for good talent - No employee engagement/development - Micromanagement, lack of clear direction & general schizophrenic vision leadership - Not very diverse, minorities not valued

Pros

It was an emerging brand in the US. The growth was strong, promising. Exciting opportunities.

Cons

Micromanagement will be a downfall of this place. Some director looks at the clock once you leave your desk. The management team does not work with the clients-- all they do is just looking at your CRM reports and trying to find out why your productivity is not what they expected. The company definitely lost some great people in the US team because of the micromanaging system.

And that we change the culture of our US offices for the better: we have relocated to a new office in the Empire State Building, opened our office in Los Angeles, put in place a strong learning & development framework and established regular communications between teams and senior leaders, including joint blue-sky thinking during our weekly Bagel Dialogues.
