Pros

The "core values" that the company heralds are truly taken to heart within Accenture. It is a company that fosters the idea of hiring and training so that it is one of "best people."

Cons

Depending on your idea of "work/life balance," it could prove to be difficult to accept this position due to the constant travel time. Being an analyst here requires travel Monday-Thursday.

It's all about Technology

Pros

You get a very generous vacation package (5 weeks) right off the bat. And, you can take a leave of absence to do fun stuff or personal stuff after you've hit a 3-year commitment.

Cons

Even if you are in the Management Consulting practice, the Technology / Systems Implementation aspect is unavoidable - it is Accenture's bread and butter. The work, quite frankly, is just not that interesting, and you get a bit pigeon-holed into certain things that you did when you were an analyst and were good at.
