Pros

Acadsoc gives various training if necessary or if requested by tutor and follow-up on each tutors progress, especially if they see your efforts in the classes. Booked and unbooked classes are paid, students are polite mostly though some may test your patience. Acadsoc gives fair judgement to the tutors if they were late, absent or needed to take a leave. Luckily, my TM and other supervisors are just as reasonable and approachable to start with so my almost 9 month journey with Acadsoc has been smooth sailing. I have been an ESL teacher for 2 years and ACADSOC was the only company that had satisfied and meet my needs and demands, Im very grateful for the company and I recommend this to my friends and family who wants to work at home.

Cons

There surely are challenging students sometimes, students that think that they can outsmart tutors, complaining tutors even though the tutor did nothing wrong. Screenshots should always be provided for that. Acadsoc reviews and weighs out the gravity of the complaints if ever there is but surely asks tutor first for proof.

Pros

- fixed rate basis ( they will pay you booked or unbooked classes) - relaxing environment, you can have audio call or video call depending on the student you have - SOME team managers are understandable and help you out - A lot of students - have PAB (Perfect Attendance Bonus) which is 1,000/ 15 days - daily bonus (10% or 80%) depending on your booking rates

Cons

- Low salary rate ( I've been working here for 4 years but my rate is just 105php/hr) - Even when you pass the Top Tutors Test ( Which I did) they will require you to have higher internet connection which is unusual in PH unless you use fibre (more expensive and for selected areas only) - You will have a low salary unless you passed the TTT (Top Tutors T) where they give more incentives - most supervisors don't reply to your queries immediately even on their working hours, so far I had 4 supervisors already (Since I'm working here for 4 years) only 1 of the 4 is actually responsive and very kind - Most DS (Direct Supervisor) makes their own rules, it will be your disadvantage if you are not quite familiar with the company rules. - CS are unreachable most of them don't reply at all - If the student gives you a bad feedback (like you are absent) even when it's not true and you have the screenshot as evidence you will still get the deduction (which is weird and you have to fight for it if you know it's not true)
