They keep hiring new teachers even when half of the company's teachers do not have bookings. I have done all the training and I put my all into every class, but this is my second week now which I have 1 class out of 60. They prefer quantity over quality which is not right. TMs are suppose to help you get classes and suggest what you should change, but when I ask my TM for help he told me "will see". The hourly rate is good, but it means nothing if they don't give you bookings. It's been a month since I completed my TESOL and I still haven't received my certificate.

tutor mangers are really bad, and if you are a female you get nothing but if you are a boy, female TMs love you and help you a lot. Maybe cause they don't see that much Caucasian males, so they are a bit too much flirtatious. Me and my boyfriend are both working for Acadsoc, and guess who has more benefits and help. Double standards are real here. Also, the booking rate, very low for me, and I have been working for almost 5 months and I have one class per day.
