Since the owner Bob Abt died and his 4 kids took over the place has just gone down hill. They do not agree with each other and let managers who don’t know what they are doing run the place. Total bs if you are not tight with one of them and if you are a female sales person just forget it.

I screamed in my car before work every morning just to get it out. As a low tier employee, my voice was never heard. Attempts to transfer out of your department can spell disaster for you if you’re not on your manager’s good side. Had maybe two or three conversations with my manager in the two years that I worked here. Took a year and a half to receive the extra training I wanted in my department and even then I wasn’t even certified in the machines I drove. Prepare to work 13 days in a row at least twice a year, while the extra money is great, management did not do much to address the several burnt out employees doing the physical labor. Rumor after rumor circulates within the walls of abt, some harmless, and others seemed to tear down some people’s careers, if you decide to work here then keep a low profile or you may be next.
