      We are an extremely busy store and it is no secret our drivers work long hours. It is brought up in the interview process on several occasions. We have no problem giving time off as long as we are fully staffed for the specific time. If you have any issues with time off, feel free to see one of the managers. Most of our drivers are happy with the overtime pay versus the alternative. We are also a retail store, customers expect us to be open holidays and weekends.

      If you were to ask our staff what they enjoy most about working at Abt, the majority would say our family oriented culture. We have been voted a Chicago Top Workplace every year by our employees since the award was released in 2010. We also compare our PTO program constantly within the workforce to make sure we are competitive. We strive to be the best and try to provide the best benefits and programs for our staff.

      It is almost impossible to have a set time off for our delivery/install fleet. Some stops can be smooth and quick and others can take a couple of hours depending what issues they run into. Bottom line we try not to leave our customers until the job is done and make sure they are taken care of. We are an extremely busy store and it is no secret our drivers work long hours. It is brought up in the interview process on several occasions and as you mentioned the pay is good. Most of our drivers are happy with the overtime pay versus the alternative.
