We always strive to be an industry leader in our knowledge of the products we sell and service, we have an in-house training facility with dedicated full time trainers as well as training from the manufacturers on a monthly basis. Several of these statements are untrue. We are constantly assessing the safety of fleet vehicles, in fact about 30-40 vehicles are replaced every year. We also pay out substantial bonuses 4 times a year and most employees love the extra income. These bonuses are based on performance and completion of jobs, if an employee does not receive one, then that is why. Steel toe boots are part of a uniform for certain departments and are for an employee's own personal protection. Since our answer is yes to any reasonable request, add on stops are necessary and this small request is what has kept us in business for 85 years.

My coworkers were pretty nice The hours weren’t bad

Cons

The customers were difficult. Some of the managers were also difficult. Despite having a culture of autonomy for all the employees you would get in trouble for the decisions you made if you didn’t run them by management while also being told by management to just make the best decision.

Customer Service is our bread and butter, it is what has kept us growing for the past 85 years. We empower all of our staff to make decisions based on our motto “The answer is always YES to any reasonable request” Therefore we expect extra effort from our customer service team and encourage them to go the extra mile. Of course mistakes will be made but we take those experiences and use them as teaching moments.

Yes we have plenty of work and our staff loves it. In our 85 years we are proud to never have had a lay off. We are always looking for nice, friendly workers to help be a part of our continued success. Like any other retail business, weekends are a prominent time.
