Pros

work life balance is supported. large company, so there are teams to switch to if you want to do something new. good diversity. there are good opportunities to grow your skills if you are a self-directed person. even though pay is said to be lower than at similar wireless companies, they do reward those who work hard with good raises and key contributor bonuses.

Cons

benefits package is terrible. expensive if you have dependents. hard to get a promotion unless you switch teams or you leave and come back as a contractor. but getting raises is not too hard if you work hard. sometimes since it is such a big company, that makes it hard. there can be a lot of confusion when working on integration projects.

Pros

The pay is good and the benefits are outstanding. I am currently considered to be "unskilled" and "uneducated" so making $25 an hour is pretty darn good! The tuirtion reimbursement program is allowing me to complete my degree and I only have to pay for books. In my opinion there is no other company I would rather be working for at this time.

Cons

Of course the downside is always going to be the stability of your job. There is always a lot of movement and a lot of downsizing and you just pray that it is not you this time. I guess if the highest paid exec would not take their huge bonus every year, it might save some jobs.

Pros

Pay, Rotational opportunities, variety in work assignments. there are many organizations and given the opportunity, you can move to any functional areas as long as you have some expertise. Management in general re-inforces that same view. Pay in competitive in most cases. Geographical locations mean it is easier to move from one region to another and most likely you will find a position that fits your skills, which is quite helpful, if you spouse takes on a new job and you have to move with them.

Cons

Low opportunities for career growth...benefits not par with many others.
