      Worst Company I have Ever Worked For

      There is nothing positive about this company.

      Cons

      This company seems to be trying to ruin everything about the National Service Desk. After replacing the former contract company, they cut pay and benefits, did not provide a smooth transition, and do not provide opportunities for overtime. Staff was without insurance for an entire month. This company also cut a large amount of jobs for no reason and began hiring under-qualified employees to replace experienced staff. Upper management does not care how staff is affected.

      Pros

      There are absolutely no pros to working for this company. Stay as far away from them as you can! A real disgrace, the VA should be ashamed! Especially when this is not even an American company! A NON-AMERICAN company providing services to AMERICAN VETERANS?!?

      Cons

      How can I count the ways? 1. Took over the VA contract and offered all existing workers a minimum of $5 less per hour than they were currently making! (More than $10,000 per year!!!) 2. Would not share any benefit information until you were already working for them! 3. Medical premiums were increased by over 900%! 4. Can't choose just vision or dental coverage without choosing medical coverage! 5. Required to pay for life insurance and EAP, which, by the way, is provided on the phone! 6. No management on-site from main office after "transition." (Guess they are afraid to be here.) I could go on but what's the use? We got screwed & not so much as a thank you!

      2 Cents of advice from a former senior level IT employee

      Pros

      After experiencing many events over a career spanning 30 years -- my advice is absolutely do NOT waste your time with this company.

      Cons

      In 30 years I have experienced many adverse career challenges & tackled them all. If you enjoy extreme micromanagement then you will love this company. I mathematically objectively outperformed my department & was reprimanded instead of being recognized in a positive manner. Realize this a family business & don't waste your time at this company where you will not be valued. I have never seen my lead write a coworkers email (until ASM)... i have never been undercut in front of customers (until ASM).....I have never felt so undervalued by any employer in my entire career (until ASM)..
