Pros

ASM is growing again with many new projects coming through the door. Project Managers and project leads will get more opportunities to grow and expand their leadership skills. In addition, senior staff will need to develop and mentor junior team members as the company expands its college recruiting and new hire initiatives. Team environment is strong on most projects. Company is focused on employees total growth and compensation package. Many projects support flexible work schedules with work from home at least 2 days per week an option. Advancement is driven by success and stepping up and leaning forward in new areas, very similar to a small company environment.

Cons

Communication at any work environment can be strengthened. Benefits are middle of the road but management is talking about upgrades for the upcoming year.

Pros

It's job...oh yeah they gave me a keychain

Cons

A one star rating is really giving them too much can we leave 0 stars!? This company was awarded the National Service Desk contract. I was a contractor for the VA for more than 3yrs I ve been through several Transitions and I have to say working for ASM R made me look for new employment. 1. Previous employees were treated horribly, our pay was cut up to 5 dollars per hour 2. a lot of employees lost their jobs 3. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS BY FAR THE WORST! They dont trust their employees, show favoritism and they retaliate against their employees. If you disagree with anything 4. Benefits were horrible! They have a health and welfare wage of 4.27 an hour. we were told that whatever is not used from that money would be put in your 401K account. Well i'm not sure what they were doing with my money but lets just say my 401k balance was always 0 and my pay statements would say other wise. MY ADVISE TO YOU IF YOUR A CURRENT EMPLOYEE.....FIND A NEW JOB ASAP!!! IF THEY OFFER YOU A JOB...DONT TAKE IT

Pros

Sense of purpose. Most of the projects support the military or Veterans. When things get discouraging our management teams help us refocus on the support we're giving to our soldiers and veterans. It makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than yourself. The company focuses on quality first which is great. We need to keep doing that.

Cons

Sometimes a project can get lost in the larger part of the company as we continue to grow. Cost cutting is becoming too big a part of projects there's a chance we could lose what made us great.
