ASEA is one of those places that kind of undersells itself. You meet the people, have an interview, get excited about the job, but have really no idea how spectacular this place is. ASEA is like a cross between your true love and the perfect street taco. You not only feel at home in ASEA's loving arms, but also the spice and excitement (taco side) of the work we do keeps you coming back for more. You tracking? But seriously, the culture of ASEA is all humanity and collaboration. The opportunity to grow have been limitless. And yeah, we like tacos too.
Cons
I don't want to sound like a lame interview response by giving a fake weakness that's really a strength, but it might sound like it. Here goes nothing. ASEA is super big on collaboration! We help each other out, and expect others to ask for help when it's need. In some organizations, asking for help is a sign of weakness. So, unfortunately, some come here with a hard shell and flounder for a while, when they could succeed more quickly if they'd let their walls come down and reach out for assistance. Seriously, we're like that awkward neighbor that genuinely wants to help you and enjoys seeing others succeed. Hard shells don't belong around a taco, and they don't belong at ASEA.
