      Great team environment with a solid vision

      Pros

      Great team that excels at working across departments. Management team made it a point to improve staff/volunteer relations. Fun, sociable staff. It was a great experience as I was provided with opportunity to demonstrate my value while developing professionally.

      Cons

      Size of the staff means you need to be patient if you want to move up. However, management sees if you want that and work to help you develop and be ready once it is available.

      Pros

      Some forward thinking policies- work from home policy and plenty of vacation days.

      Cons

      No opportunities for growth. Staff leadership frequently makes decisions with self promotion in mind and not the organization as a whole.

      Pros

      Good place to get lost of experience in a supportive, non-profit environment. Leadership listens to new ideas. Flexible work schedules and solid benefits. It can be a very fun team setting ! Lots of access to training and development.

      Cons

      I haven't experienced significant downside. Staff is goal oriented, which is great because you know where you stand and everyone is trying to help the same things. Employees don't tend to stick around if they don't share the same goals to help support and grow membership.
