This company has absolutely gone to the dogs and not the AMS I joined 12 years ago. They launched a new "strategy" in January and it is literally ALL they bang on about whilst using a god awful formula one race car analogy that they keep ramming down everyones throats. What used to be emotive 45 minute all hands calls have been changed to 90 minute"quarterly accelerator updates" (again with the race car) where you have to sit listening to exco who have the combined charm of an AI Chat bot selling used cars, ramble on about figures and in a round about way, telling us we are on our way to the scrap heap. They used the most recent one that was strategically timed to take place after the annual company survey to announce that they are not paying out full bonuses, are not performing as they anticipated, and are reverting back to an old management model for RPO under the guise that it is a new thing. They keep trying to pass off continuous change that is due to failed attempts to grow the business as "Transformation" whilst vomiting race tracks and formula one puns at you. Everything is being outsourced to India and the Phillipines meaning that people are being made redundant in their droves, however we continually see money being ploughed into stupid, over produced internal corporate videos and podcasts because the CEO and exco seem obsessed with wanting people to like them and know who they are. Communication and engagement has gone to the absolute dogs, ERGs get absolutely no promotion or central support, activities and fun events are non existent. Many of the awards have been scrapped and the only form of recognition is an e-card platform where the maximum amount a manager can give in a 12 month period is equivalent to a £30 tesco voucher. Money is being ploughed into hiring a fleet of managers and senior managers in non revenue generating and non compliance related teams to manage this supposed "Transformation" whilst people who's roles are dedicated to generating revenue are being shipped to India. There is also MASSIVE pay disparity between new and long standing employees whereby new managers are coming in and in some cases getting paid significantly more than people who have worked here for years on the basis that the market rates have increased and the salary bandings have expanded. There are also more junior career levels getting paid below the minimum salary band that the company now offers new employees Earlier this year on a people manager call we were told brazenly as that Exco were fully aware of the disparity but that the only means they had to uplift people was ASR which didn't even scratch the surface Given my length of service, I'm essentially just keeping calm and carrying on until I get that inevitable phone call to tell me my time is up and I'm being paid to go on my merry way.
