Pros

Ability to get extra pay working overtime during shutdown periods. You don't require qualifications to perform skilled work as senior management will provide falsified documents to get you approved to work.

Cons

Little to no direction from management. Major decisions made with little thought. Unless you're a friend or related to a senior manager there is no career progression.

Pros

Long standing company with close group of friends. The work has been strong and less during the winters. Benefits are great and cost effective. The facility is kept clean and ongoing updates. New equipment is generously received. Managers manage well and employees are taken care of when they have a crisis.

Cons

Growth was too much and our reputation was hurt a little due to such high capacity workload.

Pros

Decent pay and good benefits. It's a very busy environment at times during the year. The winter is alot slower and overtime is kept to @40 hours if your lucky. Even forced to use 1,2,or 3 vacation days during specific months in the winter. Just do your job, do it well and you will not have any problems. It can be taxing, yes you can work 55+ hour weeks. But by helping the company out, you get to have a job making money. If your just starting off in this field you will start on the low end around $13. But can be as high as $18 to start. It's a good job, everyday is different. I'm not sugarcoating but this job does have its issues, but than again what job out there doesn't?

Cons

During the warmer months overtime can be high. During the winter months overtime is almost nonexistent, even forced to use your vacation time ( this is legal, I checked). Communication is ok. Needs a lot more improvement on that end. And I honestly think the pay is a little under what it should be.
