Pros

ALS is an excellent company to work with as long as employee has simple, straightforward, dedicated, honest and diligent outlook. The standard operation procedure is accommodating and easy to follow. Working hours is great and flexible. The pay is high. The Branch Management Team is very good in accommodating employees facing workloads.

Cons

Highly Repetitive. Employee needs to ground from time to time to avoid absorbing "robotic" energy from same tasks. Other than that, nothing to worry about.

Pros

Safety in the work place is high priority. If injury occurs treatment is assured unlike my previous workplace. Learning is available to improve your standing in the company and there is staff who work part time and study. Myself I am in a position where if we have a need or problem I get to solve it as a team or develop new ways to address it. In the department I work in there is no politics just a good team environment with a focus on quality and safety. It's one of the better work environments I have been in.

Cons

limited room for advancement in levels, mostly due to the nature of workload being production lab and not a research styled lab.

Pros

ALS staff and managers are amazing, I've always felt supported and encouraged to reach my potential even working part time. There are more learning opportunities becoming available with a cool new leadership course being offered. They often support local charities and promote internal transfers to broaden skills.

Cons

No major negatives come to mind but it would be nice to get do some site tours of other business streams, given it is such diverse company
