Pros
The work is can be really interesting, it is a fast paced industry. The management is really good at listening to ideas from their staff on how to improve efficiency and change policy, they have recognize and appreciate it when you do really well. They allow you to be independent and don't micro-manage.
Cons
The pay is pretty low, but I get the feeling the entire industry is like that. There is no flexibility, you have to work full time and be at the office the entire time. They don't support their employees career-wise, no education leave policies or training programs to get you into management. The culture here just isn't what it could be. They don't try to foster relationships and team work, everyone is kind of left to do what they do. When mistakes are made, people are blamed, and a lot of the solutions are band-aids instead of dealing with the heart of the problem.
