Pros

Job security--employee turnover is so high that they can't afford to fire anyone

Cons

Poor pay--no merit based raises (only about 2% raises per year for "cost of living"), and no bonuses Dysfunctional management with questionable competence No HR on site--personal issues, nepotism, and cliques determine who gets promoted No IT on site--operating systems, chemstation versions, and hardware infrastructure are extremely outdated, with no improvement in sight.
