If you are a recent grad, the high turnover may give you an opportunity to get experience. No benefit past 3 months though

Terrible salary, high workload, very repetitive, have to take leave whenever it's not busy, management doesn't care about staff at all and is often deceitful, no career progression, poor training

Learning how not to run a company.

Cons

Do not join the company if you are working in a professional capacity (any position outside of the labs). The industry is extremely volatile, and when combined with a top-down management style throughout the company you get a very depressing culture. Employees are not engaged and employee turnaround is very high, both voluntary and non-voluntary. I've never been immersed in a more authoritative culture before, it was honestly just a really weird experience. The pension sucks, the bonuses are a joke, and the compensation is horrible. I was being underpaid by 30% doing the same job in a different company. Let that sink in. Cannot speak for lab staff directly, but in my interactions with them they seemed even worse off.

Comfortable. High volume so you are almost always busy. There are a few nice people who work there.

Cons

Management treats it like an elementary school. No talking, or enjoying yourself while you work. Management keeps their eye on the clock when you are at lunch. You have to explain yourself when you are 5 minutes late.
