Agriculture focused with exceptional continuous improvement process.

Pros

One of the best continuous improvement processes. They allocate funds specifically for continuous improvement projects and strive for quick implementation. The Sunflower Manufacturing facility in Kansas had a great continuous improvement focus and unbelievable achievements within a 3-5 year window.

Cons

At Sunflower their priority system was difficult to manage. Priority 9's became Priority 1's in a manner of minutes. Some priorities were changed to accomodate a $50 attachment when the focus should of been producing components for $50,000 complete assemblies.

Pros

The people are very friendly. Great environment. You can get good feedback about your performance but not so much regarding your development. Leaders and management are accessible and approachable. I have worked at places that were much worse. If you hate your current work environment and think all companies are the same, try to get on at AGCO. It will change your opinion.

Cons

The good ole rule is in full effect. There is not a lot of opportunities to advance in a given discipline.

Great support staff, customer service is excellent. Good product, company stands behind it.

Cons

For territory sales you have to be a road warrior. Strength of dealer channels vary greatly by region.
