Adt provides the opportunity to become successful financially, but it is very difficult.
Pros
Lots of freedom Brief training salary Decent product training Continuous sales support. Small auto allowance Adt is a Nationwide company so you can transfer just about anywhere you want ( if your at quota )
Cons
Adt has a 100% commission based salary structure. This can be good and bad. Commission only jobs can be lucrative if the individual is motivated and a good salesman. If you consider yourself to be just average at selling you'll probably fall in the the 95% turnover category. Most sales jobs have high turnovers, but ADT by far , has the highest I ever seen or heard of. The average tenure at the company is about three to four months. ( This is when the training pay stops) . ADT offers no PTO for the sales team! So if you want to take off for a week or two , you don't get paid. In order to make 70-80 k you must work about 60-70 hrs per week. Not a great work / family balance.
