Training, training, training... ADT is great when it comes to opportunity to improve. 60k - 90k potential as commissioned sales professional, f your a worker.

Cons

60+ hours per week & 30k+ miles on your car per year. Senior management can be very counter productive.

Pros

There are a lot of good people that still work there. Some of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure to know.

Cons

The past two or three years have been miserable for most employees. The installation technicians fear a reduction in pay, the sales reps turnover to the point where admin staff don't even bother to learn their names, Service department is underfunded, under-trained, understaffed, and under appreciated. Operation Managers lack the empowerment to make smart decisions and they are punished for making conscious decisions without Area or regional approval. While corrupt employees with personal agendas quickly rise up the chain of command despite multiple HR complaints against them.

great corporate support, great national training program, 4 weeks training salary, office space w/phone and computers to cold call and follow up on leads. Some leads supplied by local office

Cons

13 counties to cover at my local office was too large an area in Gainsville, Fl. Mentoring was not very good. Seasoned reps seemed to resent new reps. When I went to national training I found that most trainees from other areas was getting a lot more help locally than I was.
