ABB Response

Thank you for the review. ABB values diversity & inclusion. We seek to promote an environment of acceptance and inclusion for the various differences that make us unique. Many employees are members of our Encompass employee resource group, which is open to and accepting of all employees. In addition ABB is proud to support a variety of D&I organizations including the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) as well as recruiting at Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions.

Pros

Products, exposure to customers/markets, Best domain technology, work-life balance

Cons

ABB GISPL: R&D managers, Dept. Managers, Line managers are not fit for the job they are given. They don't care about employees/people and ABB. They pull down their own teams who go beyond their line of duty to accomplish great work. Managers enjoy claiming the work done by the team without giving them any credit by not exposing them to global teams. Do not help their teams in anything instead create trouble for them who tell truth or ask questions openly. Hire B class employees so they listen to them only and don't ask anything. They support the people they hire with a bias towards them. (nepotism) If their complaint is done to a higher management nothing happens. All have synced in between. HR is for name purposes with no power. Deadlines are always missed due to poor project/program management capabilities. The salary is average as per the market standard for IT employees.
