After briefly asking about my work experience, the interviewer quickly shifted to questions about my current salary and the benefits I receive from my current employer. They then asked if I was amenable to working on-site, immediately after mentioning the shift schedule and office location. These questions were asked without any prior discussion of the job description, compensation, or benefits associated with the role I was applying for. The process felt premature and lacked transparency.
